4.6 Data Retention and the Run Archive

How long each kind of data is kept, what happens to old run detail, and how to get it back.

What Happens to a Workspace Nobody Is Paying For

There are no free workspaces. A trial lasts 14 days, and only a CertiQA admin can extend it. A workspace with no plan and no live trial can sign in to subscribe, export its data or delete itself, and nothing else.

Subscription cancelled 30 days after cancellation
Trial ended, no plan chosen 90 days after the trial ended
Workspace created but never had a plan or trial 30 days after it was created

Your workspace administrators get an email 7 days and 1 day before. Choosing a plan stops the deletion. Deleting a workspace removes its projects, tests, runs, secrets, members and its run archive, and cannot be undone.

Downloading Older Run Detail

Run detail older than 30 days is no longer in the product, but it is not gone. A System Admin can list and download it:

Each file is a gzipped JSON Lines file: one run result (case_run_result) or one conversation turn (agent_turn_result) per line, with the same fields the product stored. Files are grouped by day. Links work only for your own workspace’s files, expire after 15 minutes, and files in long-term storage download the same way (retrieval from long-term storage can be a little slower).
